We collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, and account details. Payment details are processed by Stripe and are not stored in full inside UKCitizenshipExam.com. We also collect study-usage information such as quiz activity, progress events, session information, and IP-related security signals.

Our saved UK journey can store the checklist tasks, planning dates, travel dates, selected UK nation and budget figures you choose to enter. Guest plans and study history are saved in browser storage. Signing in enables account synchronisation. You do not need to upload passports or application documents.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and maintain access to your purchased study materials
  • To process payments and manage account access windows
  • To track study progress, learning history, and platform performance
  • To send transactional emails such as purchase confirmations and password-reset messages
  • To send permitted marketing or recovery emails where you have provided contact details

Study and journey reminder emails are optional. We record your selected preferences and consent and provide controls to switch reminders off and unsubscribe. We use aggregate feature counts and signed-in activity to assess task completion and return visits; these features do not add an anonymous tracking identifier.

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored using infrastructure and services selected for site operation, including Cloudflare for application delivery and email automation data, and DigitalOcean PostgreSQL for account, study and saved journey records. Study records, account information, and operational logs are retained only as needed for service delivery, support, security, and legitimate business administration.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Stripe — Payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.
  • Google Analytics — Usage analytics and performance measurement.
  • Amazon SES — Email delivery.

5. Data Retention

We retain account and study data for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, support your account, satisfy legal obligations, and maintain business records. You may request account deletion by contacting us, subject to any records we must retain for fraud prevention, taxation, accounting, or legal compliance.
